Talent Insider Monthly

August 2018

Dear ,

DSC_3819.jpg

It’s hard to believe we are done with summer.  In many of our markets, the kids are heading back to school!

As we move through the back-half of the year, I suspect you are focused on finishing strong and achieving your goals.  To that end, in this issue of Talent Insider, we focus on key areas that you may find timely:

Coaching for ROI – we have seen a steady increase in the use of executive coaching to develop key leadership behaviors. If you are interested in measuring the financial and strategic impact a coaching engagement, read this article.

6 Key Practices for Implementing Selection Assessments – there has been an emergence in the use of validated assessments for selection purposes.  If you are using, or considering using, formal assessments be sure to read this article.

We also share the dates of an exciting Lunch and Learn series on the Future of Work, open roles we are sourcing, Community Partners of Dallas, and information on DHRE transition – we have a drop-in event for Dick Ulrich, I hope you can attend.

Much regards,

Joe Frodsham | President

Dick

 Dick Ulrich

Dick Ulrich has been with CMP from the beginning.  Partnering with Keith Nave, Dick built a firm that has had a positive impact on thousands of lives.  As part of his CMP leadership, Dick has led Dallas Human Resources Executives (DHRE), helping hundreds of executives successfully transition to their “next.”

Dick is now moving on to his well deserved next – and handing over the reigns of DHRE to Bruce Weaver.  We will be hosting a drop-in event for Dick on Thursday, September 27 from 5:00-7:00 pm in CMP Dallas office.  If you are able to drop by, that would be terrific.  Please RSVP to Carloss Dorsey at Carlossd@careermp.com
