Hello Friend,

Championship Registration: Teams who have qualified for either the FIRST® Championship or their District Championship will receive an email from FIRST® letting them know that they have been registered for their Championship event. However, our registration system requires that teams first be placed on a waitlist prior to registration. Therefore, some teams may receive an email notification that they have been placed on the waitlist first. Your team should receive an additional email shortly after stating that your team has been registered.

Should you have any questions about the registration status of any event, please view your team’s event registration status on the www.firstinspires.org Dashboard.

For a reminder of the Championship notification schedule and payment deadlines, please visit: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/blog/2017-mission-control-champs-notification.

Dow Shaping the Future Video Contest: Upload your video April 3- 9! Enter Dow’s Shaping the Future Video Contest for an opportunity to win up to a $7,500 grant! A total of $25,000 in prizes will be awarded, and this contest is open to all FIRST teams! To enter – create a video that is 60 seconds or less in length, describing a way that you see robots and technology shaping the future. This can be related to anything in STEM – not just limited to robotics – from self-driving cars to robots that take out the trash. Your team does not need to create the robot, just simply demonstrate a robot or technology of the future in a creative way, and explain how it will impact our lives. For full details, visit the contest page.
