As the year comes to a close, AIAG would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the work group, project team, steering committee, and other supply chain volunteers who have helped AIAG continue to advance its initiatives for the industry during a very tough year for our country and our world.
Steve Britt, senior manager — customs at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, leads customs and international trade functions with teams in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. He is responsible for all import and export operations and compliance activities as well as providing strategic direction for risk mitigation and duty optimization activities.

In the weeks ahead, the Senate will be turning its attention to Bill S-216. The Bill, if passed, will enact Canada's first modern slavery disclosure legislation.
The proposed Modern Slavery Act would require mandatory modern slavery disclosure by companies subject to the Act, as well as an amendment to the Customs Tariff to prohibit the importation of goods produced using forced labour (which is already prohibited) and goods made by children.
Offered by Wayne State University in cooperation with AIAG, this non-degree certificate program was designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of supply chain issues in the context of the global automotive industry.
