It's the most wonderful time of the year

During the fall months I start to crave beer, barbecue, chili and wings. They are the perfect side dishes to the meal of football I am consuming. Judging by the data, I am not alone. It's good to know there are others. And Wayne, if you're reading, I made bourbon wings again, and again I was unable to save any for you. I will try harder next time.

Competition drives us and it drives revenue

Strava, a top fitness tracking app, launched a (temporarily?) lucrative feature called Local Legends. Local legends crowns the person who has the most "efforts" over a 90 day period on a specific route, the local legend of that route and they receive a digital laurel crown. However, Strava's free trial only lasts 30 days. In just 13% of the past 365 days, Strava earned 39% of its revenue in that same time period. The company is attempting to raise between $150-$400M at a valuation of more than $1B, according to Bloomberg.

How Planet Fitness accelerated growth amid a pandemic
