New PCOM Course Release Guidelines
The college has developed new guidelines to clarify the cost and process for course releases charged to grants. Effective July 1, 2020, the cost of a course release for a 3 credit hour course will be 10% of the faculty member's base salary. The source of funding for the course release must also cover the cost of the associated benefits. Additionally, a course release must be taken during the academic year in which the release time is charged to the grant. The full guidelines are available on the PCOM Faculty and Staff shared drive in the Policies & Guides folder.
