Mexico City to Emerge Slowly from Lockdown
Timeline of Mexico City reopening to their 21 million residents:
Monday, June 15, 2020: Restrictions on vehicle traffic and public transportation will be eased.
Tuesday, June 16, 2020: Factories will begin opening under strict sanitary protections.
Thursday, June 18, 2020: Small shops will reopen.
Friday, June 19, 2020: Employees in professional services and scientific workers who are linked back to specific industry can go back to work.
Week of June 22 - 28, 2020: Street markets and the historic center of the city will reopen, if conditions are deem suitable.
