Canada Set To Require Temperature Screenings for Flyers
Temperature screening protocol will be phased in, with those arriving in Canada being screened by the end of June and then those leaving the country, as well as, for domestic travelers at the country’s four biggest airports by the end of July.
A traveler who registers a fever during two separate temperature screenings, 10 minutes apart, will be asked to rebook their travel dates after a 14-day quarantine period has passed.
The temperature screening is being used as an added layer of safety and is not detecting people with COVID-19.
