Hi there,

SAT registration has opened for summer/fall 2020 test dates.  We have full details below.

Get Detailed Guidance On Our Webinar

We will discuss the latest test registration updates—including implications for admissions deadlines (early decision, early action, etc.) and test optional-policies—on our June 8 webinar: How to Design Your SAT/ACT Testing Timeline as a Rising 11th or 12th Grader (With COVID-19 and Test-Optional Policy Updates)Register here for the live webinar (or sign up to receive a recording).

SAT Registration Has Opened

  • "Priority" students may register as of now for the August 29, September 26, or October 3 test dates (as well as the November 7 and December 5 test dates).  You are a priority student if: (i) you are in the high school class of 2021 (rising senior) who does not yet have an official SAT score and/or (ii) you were registered for the June SAT and did not cancel your registration.

  • All other students may register as of now for the November 7 and December 5 test dates beginning now.  Beginning Wednesday, June 3 at 4:00 PM Alaska time, you will be able to register for the August 29, September 26, or October 3 test dates.  If you're concerned about being able to reserve a seat and want to have a backup option, you may wish to register now for the November 7 SAT, then check back on June 3 to see if you can register for the August 29, September 26, or October 3 test dates.

  • For full details, see the announcement from the College Board.

ACT Registration

  • The June 13 ACT in Anchorage was cancelled.  Status of the July 18 test in Anchorage has not yet been announced.  If you were registered for the June 13 ACT, follow the instructions you will receive from ACT, Inc. regarding changing your registration.

  • Registration for ACT tests in September and beyond will open in July.

Both the College Board (SAT) and ACT, Inc. (ACT) have committed to rolling out online testing this fall in the event that in-person testing proves unfeasible.

Again, we encourage you to register for our June 8 webinar for additional information and guidance on navigating COVID-19's effects on SAT/ACT test dates and college admissions.  In the meantime, if you have any questions about your student's SAT/ACT testing or college admissions strategy, please feel free to reply to this email.
