Greetings to my FLC Colleagues in the Mid-Continent Region,

The Mid-Continent and Far West joint regional meeting will take place in Boulder, CO from November 17 through 19, 2020. Stay tuned for details as we get closer to the event. In the meantime, know that your program planning committee is busy working on developing an outstanding program that will include a day of T2 training, a day focused on autonomous systems, including a regional business and federal lab meet-up, and a great field trip.

The Meeting Program Committee is seeking your input to help us build a strong technology focused event designed to facilitate federal lab and regional industry partnerships around autonomous systems. Please let us know if your lab is currently in or seeking CRADA partners in the autonomous system space. Knowledge of your current research and future needs will help us fill out the meeting program.

Since our tech focus day will be on autonomous systems, take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the UAS Tech Forum in September in Oklahoma City, and join other innovators for the Pitch Presentations:

  • May 8th - Deadline to Apply for a Pitch Presentation at the UAS Tech Forum. The pitch presentations are the most anticipated session at the UAS Tech Forum. The session starts with guest Moderator, Jeff Shackelford, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Center in Johnson County and Mid America Angels Investment Network offering an entrepreneurs wisdom. The process is as valuable as the pitch. Don't miss this exciting opportunity and click here to learn more: Apply to Pitch.

All of us with the Mid-Continent and Far West planning committees look forward to sharing more information on our joint meeting as we finalize the program. Stay tuned and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
