We hope that you and your loved ones are staying well during this challenging time. Blue Zones Project - Umpqua wants to reach out to share some resources you and your family may find helpful.

Sharecare, Blue Zones Project’s parent company, has been compiling tools and resources you may find useful during this challenging time. We hope you'll take a look and share with others who may need these, too.

We have also developed a survey to better understand the impact of COVID-19 on individuals and communities. To-date, more than 45,000 people have taken the survey, representing all 50 states and ages. The survey was developed in partnership with Dr. Sandro Galea, Dean of Boston University’s School of Public Health. The more data, the more accurate the insights, the better we can help #flattenthecurve.

Take the Survey

Early insights include:

  • Over 90% indicate they are worried about the novel coronavirus, including 47% indicating they are either “panicked” or “very worried”
  • 92% indicate they are physically distancing or socially isolating
  • 65% indicate they are worried about their retirement funds and the financial market overall
  • 33% indicate they are sleeping more
  • 35% indicate they likely will not be able to pay their bills
  • 22% indicate they are still going into work

Take the survey and see how people have been impacted across the nation. We at Blue Zones Project believe that survey responses could also allow our community partners greater visibility into how communities are handling this pandemic and better inform their response to this crisis.

Thank you for all you are doing to stay home and stay safe during this time. We look forward to being together again soon!
