Air Austral to suspend flights to multiple countries March 20th
Air Austral will suspend its flights to and from France starting March 20th and to and from Bangkok, Thailand, as of March 23rd due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Flights to India and Madagascar are already suspended due to travel restrictions imposed by their governments to combat the virus, while the suspension on the flights to and from China was extended to June. Contact airline officials for updates or refund/rebooking options.
South Korea: Authorities implement new quarantine measures for inbound travelers
Authorities ordered all inbound travelers to report daily on their health to local authorities for 14 days after entering the country. Travelers showing COVID-19 symptoms are required to undergo testing at the airport, lasting 4-6 hours. Travelers who test positive for the virus are required to stay in the country in self-quarantine, receiving treatment instructions from local authorities until they are recovered. Follow all official directives.
