HAPPY NEW YEAR! Everyone at the METALCON family wishes you and your family a happy and healthy 2015! And a very happy 25th Anniversary to METALCON! METALCONNECTION will be celebrating the show’s rich history and success throughout the years. You can look forward to great show stories, interviews and important information about METALCON 2015.
It was October 1991 and the first industry event dedicated exclusively to the use of metal in construction was launched. Over 3600 professionals across metal industry segments gathered in our Nation’s Capitol for three full days of educational seminars and exhibits. Twenty-five years ago, our mission was the only show of its kind to bring architects, engineers, contractors, building owners & developers together with manufacturers of metal building systems, components, machinery and suppliers in a focused educational forum. Twenty-five years later, it is still doing just that. Join us October 14-16 in Tampa to continue the METALCON tradition.

METALCON Makes Its Timely Return to the Southeast
Metal construction is “everywhere,” but with the show’s return to the southeast, the building of the PortMiami Tunnel is a fascinating and timely one. PPG recently shared a case study based on their involvement in the project with the use of their coatings products, Duranar XL and Duracron. The Southeast has been steadily growing in the metal building and coatings industry, especially with the expected increase in port use with Miami and Savannah leading the way. You’ll be able to visit PPG and other exhibitors based in the Southeast at METALCON in Tampa in October. READ MORE.
