Kicking Off 2020 with Hope

Happy New Year! There’s no better way to kick off a new year than with a hopeful message about improving student challenges.

We know that some students drop out, stop out, take a long time to graduate, and struggle in repayment. No doubt they are experiencing complex challenges. The profile of today’s college student shows many face an uphill battle when they step foot on campus. They juggle a lot of responsibilities, may need to overcome barriers as a first-generation student, and may work full-time to support themselves.

So how do we help you help your students feel like they're part of your college family, graduate timely, and prepare for a career or advanced studies?

As an organization, we take this responsibility very seriously. It’s the impetus behind our decision to move beyond financial wellness, broaden our support, and help more students persist and complete. For the full story check out Persistence and Completion Strategies: Financial Literacy and Beyond.

We identified three strategies to improve student persistence and completion and expanded our comprehensive online student success curriculum.
